1. Anna Eriksson (1496-1552), Sweden
Anna Eriksson was the daughter of a Swedish nobleman. When she was 18 or 19, her father died and she inherited about 40 percent of his wealth. She married the king’s nephew, but she was never happy with that arrangement, and she eventually left him and ran off.
